Splatterware

Spatterware is a technique originating as far back as the early 1800's. The style uses patterns either spattered or sponged on often in bright or contrasting colours e.g. black on white. The technique has a wider incidence in pottery history, for instance in Staffordshire, England around 1800–1820 spatterware was made at the Wedgwood factory in England, sometimes specifically for sale in the United States.

Today, our modern style of Splatterware and splattered ceramics takes contemporary shapes and blends bright and striking painted colourways.

Our production partner Ivanros have produced three styles for us including Confetti, Cobalto and Salpicado. Handmade in Spain, these beautiful pieces are the perfect accompaniment to spice up your home.
