Spill the wine, walk in from the garden, let the kids and the dog do their worst: they wash up beautifully and only get softer with age.
Built for real life
We chose natural fibres for a reason. Cotton is hard-wearing, light enough to shift from kitchen to bedroom on a whim, and free of the fussiness of a “good” rug you’re afraid to actually use. Our larger jute rugs, handwoven in India, bring a chunkier, more textural feel underfoot — lovely in a living room or under a dining table.

How they’re made
Cotton mats, runners and rugs are hand-loomed in Portugal, where weaving is a craft passed down through generations. Our larger jute rugs are handwoven in India. Real materials, made by people, built to last — the opposite of mass-produced.
Caring for your rug
Machine-wash cold and line dry — that’s genuinely it. Cotton rugs soften with every wash, so they only get better with time. Shake out or vacuum jute rugs and spot-clean as needed.
