Marco Marella was born in Venice in 1962 and still lives and works there. After stints as a ship-boy on a cargo vessel and an army officer, he studied illustration at Chelsea School of Art in London and has spent 30+ years working as an illustrator and surface designer. His clients include the Washington Post and Disney — but it's the colours and light of Venice that keep showing up in his work.
