Meghan studied fine art with a focus on oil painting but stepped away from their practice after feeling pressured to create “deep” work. Rediscovering their love for art years later, they taught themselves graphic design, landing a role as a designer at a stationery company. Inspired by Spanish, French, and Italian cultures, Phthalo draws heavily from their transformative time studying art in Florence, Italy.
